The Theodora semainier

  • The Theodora "semainier" ("semaine" means "week" in French) is a set of seven earcuffs (one for each day of the week) in seven colors
  • It is named after Byzantine empress Theodora, wife of Justinian and one of the most powerful female figures of the Byzantine Empire
  • Pickup and essayage available at the Bangla Begum atelier (Paris 10th

The Theodora earcuffs are for unpierced ears and come as a full set of seven colors: gold, silver, copper, navy, forest green, aubergine and neon pink. Each earcuff is made of brass, and according to their color, they are either dipped in gold, or dipped in silver then painted with varnish, or not dipped at all and just painted. They do stay firmly in place - just remove them to do sports (please) and watch our video to learn how to put them on.

All our earcuffs are cast with our own custom-made moulds in Algeria and treated (gold or silver-dipped, then painted) in two different French workshops near Paris. They are delivered with cards printed on FSC certified paper, in a shipping box made of Austrian undulated kraft and filled with recycled paper shredding.

The Theodora semainier is available on pre-order and will be shipped at the latest on November 25th. We ship worldwide. Shipping is free within the EU. Our shipping fee for outside the EU includes duties and taxes.
